Decorate the original banner PNG with image editing software such as GIMP or Photoshop.

In your modules folder, open the textures folder inside the mods folder, type banner in the search field and search.

The author wants to change the flag with the black background and bird pattern. Open all the dds files that contain that flag and modify them.

Open the banner dds file, place the flag on the flag you want to replace, and save it with the name of that banner dds file to replace the dds file.

Click Yes to replace the file.

Set the format to BC3(DXT5) or 8.8.8.8, check Color, and then save.

BC3 (DXT5) format is recommended.

Run the game to verify that the flag has been applied properly.
